Purchases will be processed by Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy handles payment processing, applicable transaction taxes and purchase-related invoicing through its checkout. Refunds follow our refund policy.
Digital Product Terms & Personal-use licence
These terms apply to digital products supplied under The Career Operator brand, including guides, templates, checklists, workbooks, prompt collections, interactive learning materials and downloadable course files.
1. Digital delivery
Products are supplied electronically. No physical product will be shipped unless expressly stated otherwise.
2. Personal-use licence
Unless expressly stated otherwise on the relevant product page, your purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the purchased materials for your own personal career-development purposes.
You may:
- download and store the files
- make reasonable backup copies
- print materials for your own personal use
- modify worksheets or templates for your own personal use
- use prompts or exercises for your own career-development activities
You may not:
- resell the product
- redistribute or share the files
- sublicense the product
- upload the complete product to a public repository or file-sharing service
- provide copies to colleagues, clients, students or customers
- reproduce substantial parts for commercial distribution
- incorporate substantial parts into another product for resale
- remove copyright or ownership notices
3. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, all rights in the original content, written materials, exercises, templates, product structure and other Career Operator materials remain with the applicable rights holder. Purchase gives you a licence to use the product; it does not transfer ownership of the underlying intellectual property.
4. Third-party platforms
Some products are designed for use with third-party services such as Claude. Purchase of a Career Operator product does not include an account, subscription, credits or access entitlement for a third-party platform unless expressly stated. You are responsible for obtaining any required third-party account or subscription.
5. Product compatibility
Third-party AI services may change their interfaces, pricing, features, model behaviour or availability. We may update our materials where practical, but we do not guarantee permanent compatibility with any particular model, service or interface.
6. No guaranteed outcomes
The Career Operator does not guarantee employment, interviews, job offers, promotions, salary increases, successful negotiations, recruitment outcomes or any other specific career result.
7. Consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited. Where purchases are processed through Lemon Squeezy, the checkout, payment, tax, refund and transaction process is handled under the terms presented through Lemon Squeezy.
Refunds and withdrawal for digital products
If you are a consumer in the EU, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days. For digital content that is delivered straight away, that right can end once the download or access has begun, if you expressly agreed to this and acknowledged that you lose the right of withdrawal. How this is shown and recorded at checkout is handled through Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record.
Separately from your statutory rights, we offer a goodwill refund: within 14 days of purchase you can ask for a full refund of a Career Operator package, without giving a reason. Email [email protected] with the email address you used to buy. Refunds are paid to the original payment method by Lemon Squeezy, usually within a few working days. If you upgraded to a larger package, the 14 days run from the upgrade for the amount you paid for it.
If a file does not work or arrives incomplete, contact us first and we will fix it or replace it.
Career review sessions
Career review sessions are individual feedback and strategy sessions provided by The Career Operator directly, not through Lemon Squeezy. They are feedback and strategy advice, not training, and they do not guarantee any outcome (see section 6 above).
1. Booking and payment
You request a session through the contact form. We confirm availability and send the payment details. The session is booked once payment is received. The price shown on the sessions page is the final price. No VAT is charged under Section 19 UStG (small business regulation).
2. What you send and what you get
For a CV and profile review, you send your CV and LinkedIn profile and receive written feedback and a short call. For a strategy session, there is an information-gathering call, written guidance, and a review call. You are responsible for the accuracy of the documents you send. We treat them confidentially and use them only for your session.
3. Rescheduling and cancelling
You can reschedule or cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before a scheduled call. If you cancel more than 48 hours before the first call and we have not yet started work, you receive a full refund. If you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice or do not attend, the call counts as used, and we will try to be flexible in genuine emergencies. If we have to cancel or reschedule, you can choose a new time or a full refund.
4. Right of withdrawal for consumers
If you are a consumer, you may have a statutory right to withdraw within 14 days of booking, without giving a reason. If you asked us to start before the 14 days end, for example by booking a call or sending your documents, and you then withdraw, you pay a proportionate amount for what has already been provided up to your withdrawal. The right ends once a service has been fully provided, if you expressly asked us to start and acknowledged this. Contact [email protected] to withdraw. Refunds are paid back using the payment method you used, within 14 days of your withdrawal.

You are responsible for meeting the requirements that apply to you. If you are unsure, check with a local professional.
